This is a great painting Patrick, very moody and atmospheric. The mist adds even more depth and distance to the scene. L/F!

Thank you, Michael. I used a very washed out blue/gray glaze for the sky that I applied with a small roller, leaving the canvas on the floor for several days. Once I had put a few trees on the horizon, the overall mood of the scene was established and off I went.
